BEST OF YEAR RECOGNITION CAPS HAWORTH’S SUCCESSFUL AWARD SEASON

Recognized nearly 50 times in 2025, Haworth awards range from product and design to sustainability

December 12, 2025 – Haworth’s Openest Collection received “Best of the Best” distinction in the Contract System category in Interior Design’s 2025 Best of Year Awards. Best of the Best honors the 20th anniversary of Best of Year, recognizing standout projects and products from the last two decades. Haworth’s Hello lounge and new Luxury Performance Textiles were also named Best of Year finalists.

These Best of Year awards bring Haworth’s year-end total of awards to 47. Additional 2025 honors include recognition as a USA Today Climate Leader, an Honorable Mention from Fast Company’s Innovation by Design for closed-loop manufacturing process and several product awards from organizations like NYCxDESIGN, Best of NeoCon, MetropolisLikes and HCD’s Nightingale Awards.

Introduced in 2014, the Best of Year winning Openest portfolio was designed by award-winning international architect and designer Patricia Urquiola. This collection of lounge sofas, privacy screens, private desks and booths provides visual and acoustic privacy. Openest is a versatile solution for both focus work and group collaboration.

The new Hello lounge chair was reimagined by Patricia Urquiola and retains the solid platform and time-tested interior frame of the original design, but with a softer, more contemporary look. Optional accessories ensure this collection of lounge chairs and poufs supports diverse work styles in flexible spaces.

Haworth’s new luxury performance textiles – Hideaway, Moondance and Vista – work harmoniously with each other and integrate seamlessly with Haworth’s other textiles and finishes. Each fabric boasts sustainability and durability, meeting the organizational needs without compromising beauty, texture or color.

Haworth joins fellow 2025 Best of Year winners and partners JANUS et Cie and Cappellini. For a full list of honorees and winners, visit Interior Design’s 2025 Best of Year.
