Throughout our history, Haworth has developed products that have changed the way people work. In the 1970s, a team of engineers led by Dick Haworth developed the first pre-wired wall panel system.

We were the first to route power directly to workstations within the modular framework of a panel-based system. This revolutionized office work, from high-level space planning to our day-to-day experience. Over time, these systems have evolved from closed individual desks into open workstations.
