Frequently Asked Questions

Haworth uses the SAP Business Network (aka SAP Ariba) – a cloud-based procurement technology platform – for sourcing, supplier management, purchasing, and accounts payable processes. To do business with Haworth, suppliers must register on the SAP Business Network.

What is SAP Ariba and SAP Business Network?

At times, you may notice that the terms SAP Ariba and SAP Business Network are often used interchangeably. These provide the integrated tools for the execution of Haworth’s Source to Settle strategy.

SAP Business Network refers to the suite of applications and tools focused on procurement processes like sourcing, contract management, and supplier lifecycle management. SAP Business Network, formerly known as the Ariba Network, is the global platform where buyers and suppliers connect and collaborate on transactions like purchase orders, invoices, and payments.

What actions are required to register as a supplier of Haworth, Inc when you are invited?

There are 2 steps all suppliers are required to complete to do business with Haworth:

  1. Register for an SAP Business Network account (if you don’t have an existing one already)
  2. Complete the Haworth Registration Questionnaire – This is where you’ll provide key information Haworth requires for doing business together, such as addresses, banking & remittance details, etc.).

As a Haworth supplier, how do I know whether to create a new SAP Business Network account or use an existing one?

When you click the link in Haworth’s invitation to register, you will receive the option to create a new account or use an existing account.  If you are not sure if your company already has an account, you can click a link to search for your company.  The system will check your company name, email domain, and other details.

If you select create a new account and fill out basic information, SAP Business Network will recognize information that may be duplicative of an existing account.  At that point, another screen will pop up to let you know, and you will have the opportunity to review accounts.

I am already a current Haworth Supplier.  Do I still need to register in SAP Business Network, or will I be imported into the portal as an Existing Supplier?

Current Haworth suppliers will need to register in the Ariba Business Network. Your existing information will not be automatically imported.

I am a current Haworth Supplier and have already signed/executed Haworth’s Code of Conduct.  Will I be required to sign/execute the Code of Conduct again when I register in the SAP Business Network?

You will need to sign it again upon registering in the Ariba Business Network to ensure compliance within the new system.

I received an SAP Business Network link to sign in, but I’ve already created a login and password. What should I do?

If you’ve already created your SAP Business Network account and login credentials, you should not use the link to sign in. Instead, go directly to supplier.ariba.com and log in using the username and password you previously set up.

Why can’t I use the link to sign in if I already have an account?

The link is typically used for first-time registration or specific event-based access. If you already have an account, using the link may prompt you to create a new one or cause login issues. Going directly to supplier.ariba.com ensures you access your existing account correctly.

What if I forgot my password?

On the supplier.ariba.com login page, click “Forgot Username or Password?” and follow the instructions to reset your credentials.

I am getting an error when I try to log in. What should I do?

Double-check that you are using the correct login page: supplier.ariba.com. If the issue persists:

  1. Clear your browser cache and cookies.
  2. Try a different browser.
  3. Contact Ariba Support for assistance.

Can I use the link to access a specific event or document?

Yes, if the link is related to a specific sourcing event or transaction, you may use it after logging in at supplier.ariba.com. The system will redirect you appropriately once authenticated.

How do I access the Haworth Supplier Registration Questionnaire?

The Haworth Supplier Registration Questionnaire will be in the SAP Business Network after your registration is completed.

  • If you have an existing SBN account, you will click the link, then log-in and access the questionnaire from your ‘Ariba Proposals & Questionnaires’ page.
  • If you do NOT have an existing SBN account, you must sign up by completing a standard form. SAP requires all new suppliers to fill in basic company and user information. This is not specific to Haworth; however, it must be completed before the registration questionnaire can be accessed. Note: It is completely free to join with a standard account on SAP Business Network.

What should I expect after I submit the Haworth Supplier Registration Questionnaire?

Upon submission, your questionnaire will automatically be routed for review and approval by Haworth.

  • If any data is invalid and/or additional information is required, you will receive an email requesting you to revise your response and re-submit for processing.
  •  If there are no issues, you will receive an email confirming your registration is complete and fully approved. The questionnaire status will appear as “Registered” in your SBN account.

I need to update my information (such as addresses, banking, etc.), what should I do?

If your registration is complete and fully approved, you will submit any updates via self-service directly from the questionnaire in your SAP Business Network account (specifically, the ‘Ariba Proposals & Questionnaires’ page).
If your registration is completed but NOT yet approved (pending approval), please contact the Haworth person who invited you to register.
