3 HAWORTH PRODUCTS RECOGNIZED AT HEALTHCARE DESIGN EXPO

HCD’s Nightingale Awards recognize product design and innovation in healthcare.

October 27, 2025 – Maari Exam, HushFree and Moxie each received a Nightingale Award, at the 2025 Healthcare Design (HCD) Conference + Expo. 31 products were recognized for their contribution to the healthcare built environment, using design and innovation to facilitate healing and productivity.

Winning a Gold Nightingale Award in the Clinician Furniture category, the Maari exam stool is designed specifically for healthcare spaces. This non-upholstered chair meets stringent cleaning and disinfecting protocols and features a five-star base with casters, a foot ring and optional tablet arm.

HushFree accoustic pods received a silver award in the Architectural Products: Non-Clinical category. These booths provide relief from sensory overload by creating a healthy level of sound through a mobile, modular solution for open areas like cafés, atriums and team spaces. The HushFree acoustic pods provide a private, distraction-free environment essential for confidential communications, making it ideal for patient consultations, virtual meetings or focused work.

Designed with healthcare environments in mind, Moxie received a silver award in Guest/Lounge Seating. Its versatility makes Moxie the ideal lounge solution for a variety of spaces – lobbies, waiting areas, atriums, caregiver respite zones and collaborative workspaces.

The annual Nightingale awards are a partnership between the HCD Conference + Expo and Healthcare Design magazine and honor new healthcare and contract products. The four-day HCD event took place in Kansas City, MO, October 25-28.
