MSI’s Krakow campus was ready for a transformation. The collaboration area, split into six meeting rooms by a corridor, stifled community spirit. Plus, two oversized canteens exceeded operational needs.

Enter the “Krakow Campus Consolidation” project, a bold initiative by MSI in partnership with Haworth. This project aimed to revamp these crucial spaces, creating exceptional, modern, and employee-centric workspaces for nearly 3000 people. The transformation focused on enhancing functionality, flexibility, and sustainability, turning isolated rooms into vibrant, adaptable areas for meetings, training, and community gatherings.

The successful redevelopment now not only supports MSI’s strategic goals but also fosters a stronger sense of community on campus.

The collaborative space now exudes a calm atmosphere through its refined color selection. The flooring solution (Desso Tarkett) in the collaborative areas and the Maari chair designed by Patricia Urquiola add a touch of designer flair, further enhancing the aesthetic appeal.

The collaboration areas are designed for various types of meetings, such as team meetings and town halls, with mobile and stackable furniture that adjusts quickly, offering the benefit of adaptable and efficient space utilization.

Lively Community Experience

The dining hub uses a warm, reddish color palette to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. This is complemented by green accents in the adjacent games room and plants, adding a touch of nature and vibrancy to the space.

The dining areas feature furniture that is mobile and stackable, allowing for quick adjustments and reconfigurations. This is particularly useful for special events such as town halls and open days, where the space needs to be versatile. The furniture is designed to be easy to maintain and durable, ensuring it can withstand regular use and remain in good condition over time.
