HAWORTH’S BEST OF YEAR FROM INTERIOR DESIGN

Magazine recognizes innovative products and awe-inspiring projects from around the globe.

December 08, 2023 – Haworth’s 75th Anniversary edition of the Fern task chair was an honoree in the Contract Task Seating category from Interior Design magazine’s Best of Year 2023 award. Now in its 18th year, Interior Design’s Best of Year recognizes the most noteworthy products and projects of the year, honoring designers, architects and manufacturers from around the world.

The 75th Anniversary Fern features a bold custom gradient and is the first task chair with digital knit on the arms, back and seat. This piece combines digital knitting expertise with the vast knowledge and experience of Haworth’s diverse team of scientists, engineers, designers, material experts and trusted manufacturing partners. This Fern still has all the original design innovation – enhanced sitting experience, the ability to move with natural flexibility, comfort and total back support.

In addition to zero landfill, ISO 14001-certified facilities, Fern contributes to Haworth’s sustainable journey with the use of digital knits. It is precisely engineered and produced, custom‐fit to the product with exact specifications, eliminating excess material. Fern contains up to 38% recycled content, is BIFMA Level 3 and Greenguard certified and contains up to 95% recyclable materials.

Haworth is honored to join 2023 Best of Year winners and finalists, especially partners Buzzispace, GAN, Tuohy, Pablo Designs, JANUS et cie and Poltrona Frau. For more information, visit Interior Design 2023 Best of Year award winners.
