This list of U.S. companies are committing to reduce environmental impact in key areas like greenhouse gas emissions, water management and waste reduction.
The ranking is determined through an analysis of data from both public and private companies operating in the U.S. Only companies that meet the European Union's stringent sustainability criteria, considered the most advanced globally, were eligible. America’s Greenest Companies 2025 evaluation and score were based on more than 25 parameters in the following categories: Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions, Water Usage, Waste Generation, Sustainability Data Disclosure and Commitments. All winners scores, sub-scores and company details have been verified by the Plant-A research team and Newsweek editorial rankings teams.
