September 12, 2024 – Haworth and ArtCenter recently celebrated the results of a partnership that researched, ideated and tested new spatial environments to reflect how the experience of work has changed in the office. With the conclusion of the ArtCenter summer class, a September event featured talks on Haworth’s future and design philosophy, as well as collaboration with designers like Patricia Urquiola. ArtCenter also presented its mission and students displayed concept pieces in the Haworth LA showroom.
The goal of the project was to create alluring spaces enabling people to interact, be productive and ultimately achieve a sense of joy in doing their best work. The concept pieces presented were 3D scale models of key products and 2D renderings of the workspace to support the new office.
The project was led by Michael Warsaw, Haworth Vice President and Officer of Global Design, Innovation and Sustainability and David Mocarski, Chair of ArtCenter Spatial Experience Design.
