CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY REPORT FROM HAWORTH GROUP NOW AVAILABLE

The 2024 report includes data and information about the company’s people, circular economy and operational performance

April 24, 2025 – The Haworth Group 2024 Corporate Social Responsibility Report has been released and highlights progress on the organization's sustainable journey. Haworth’s first report was issued in 2005 and has grown to encompass global efforts.

Haworth’s strategy is focused on three key areas that form a road map for continuous improvement: people, circular economy and operational performance. Progress in 2024 includes:

  • Haworth Group brands launched seven new products designed
    with circularity in mind.
  • A partnership with Manufacture 2030 will accelerate progress toward Haworth Group climate goals.
  • The quest for better energy-efficient technology in manufacturing plants continued with global updates. In the Holland, Michigan, Haworth Distribution Center, updates earned rebates from the Board of Public Works.
  • Haworth is only 4% away from the goal of using 100% renewable, reusable, recyclable or compostable packaging by the end of 2025. This includes plastic-free packaging for Collaborate carts and switching 46,000 lbs. of traditional stretch wrap to a biodegradable version with no microplastics.
  • Circularity and use of sustainable materials were central themes of DesignLab 2024 – a Haworth collective of designers and artists that look beyond the industry for provocative ideas and new solutions that build stronger communities.
  • Haworth Helps, a program that showcases the incredible employee impact on local communities, launched in 2024. Utilization of paid volunteer hours grew by 10% and employees participated in more than 100 community events globally.
