BLUESCAPE NOW OPTIMIZED FOR MICROSOFT SURFACE HUB

At NeoCon 2017, Bluescape and Haworth showcase advances in combined virtual and physical workspaces incorporating Surface Hub to enhance collaboration

SAN CARLOS, Calif. – Bluescape, an innovator in visual collaboration software, announced its software is now available for Microsoft Surface Hub.

The company demonstrates this new capability at NeoCon 2017, the commercial design industry’s premier event, as Bluescape and Haworth unveil an innovative new collaboration space featuring Microsoft Surface Hub.

The space will include inspired interiors by Haworth, Microsoft Surface Hub multi-touch collaboration devices and Bluescape’s state-of-the-art visual collaboration software. The result is an ideal collaboration space that fuses the best of physical and virtual workspaces into a single, easy-to-use, easy-to-access place where ideas are evolved, shared, presented and preserved.

Bluescape’s visual collaboration software gives teams a virtual place to meet, share and develop ideas. It is accessible using any internet-enabled device such as smartphones, computers and interactive displays, now including Microsoft Surface Hub.

Bluescape was born to meet a real need within Haworth to provide a better way for designers and developers to visually collaborate across teams, locations and devices. Building upon the company's long tradition of adapting technology to meet changing workplace needs, the space featured at NeoCon eliminates the barriers between the physical and virtual to simplify, speed and enhance the way we work.

“The needs of the modern workforce require unique solutions that seamlessly blend the way a space functions with the technology that powers it,” said Scott Poulton, CEO of Bluescape.“ By incorporating the stunningly rich visual display capabilities of Microsoft Surface Hub, Haworth and Bluescape can deliver workspace solutions that delight and motivate teams while driving huge productivity gains.”

Bluescape’s innovative collaboration software extends the Surface Hub’s rich and frictionless hardware into an infinite virtual workspace that enables teams to interact with content and collaborate on projects no matter where team members are located. Bluescape’s software also works seamlessly with other Microsoft products, as well as other file types teams already use (Google docs, video or audio files, images) – anything can be shared and stored in one limitless digital workspace.

“The concept of the digital whiteboard got a big boost when Microsoft introduced Surface Hub, and enterprise organizations are responding favorably,” said Chris Marsh, Research Director with 451 Research covering Workforce Productivity. “While this is good news for the multi-touch device space, organizations will need robust software solutions to realize the productivity gains they are hoping for from device investments.”
