SOJI CLEANABLE+ WINS TWO NIGHTINGALE AWARDS

Nightingale Awards recognize innovative healthcare products that contribute to healing.

October 7, 2024 –Soji XL Cleanable+, a durable and cleanable task chair by Haworth, recently won both a Silver and Sustainability Nightingale Award in the Furniture: Clinician Support Category. This innovative task chair was among 59 entries in 18 different categories.

Built on a foundation of groundbreaking seating research, decades of comfort studies and 5.5 billion data points, Soji seating offers more ergonomic options than most chairs in its class. The Soji XL Cleanable+ extends the Soji family to accommodate individuals of any size or shape while also offering a finish that can be easily sanitized, creating peace of mind for those in the healthcare field. This task chair features bleach cleanable faux leather upholstery on front and back, meeting CDC Guidelines.  

Supporting Haworth’s goals for circularity, Soji XL Cleanable+ is both GREENGUARD Gold and BIFMA Level 3 certified. Soji is also manufactured in a zero landfill, 9001 and 14001certified facility. This product is designed to endure and is made of long-lasting high-quality materials but does feature replaceable wearing parts for longevity of the chair. Soji is easily disassembled and 95% recyclable, so that when a product reaches the end of its useful life, customers and partners are encouraged to avoid landfills and pursue second-life options.

The Nightingale Awards are part of the Healthcare Design Conference & Expo and recognize a products contribution or solution for clinical or operational outcomes.
