1104 Navy Stool

Emeco

Emeco created 1104 Navy seating in 1949 for use in libraries by adding a wood seat to the original aluminum chair. Amish woodworkers handcraft the seat from solid wood, and a time-tested 77-step production process ensures overall durability. The side chair is available with or without arms. Complement chairs with stools in two heights.

Handcrafted to Last

The 1104 Navy chair is still made by craftsmen today using the 77-step process, which includes forming recycled aluminum by hand, welding, tempering for strength, and anodizing for a durable finish. The result is a timeless chair that is lightweight, strong, and built for a lifetime. The solid wood seat is handcrafted by Amish woodworkers.
