Course Description

This session explores how the built environment can impact neurodivergent individuals and offers inclusive design strategies to help everyone feel comfortable, safe, and empowered to do their best work, regardless of neurological profile.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the importance of inclusive design policies—both formal and informal—in supporting neurodivergent individuals within organizational environments.
- Explain the role of the eight human senses (beyond the traditional five) in shaping how individuals experience and react to built environments.
