Located in Shanghai’s central business district, Haworth Shanghai showroom is the first commercial interior in Asia to achieve the WELL Building Certification. It is also a LEED v4 GOLD and RESET (Indoor Air Quality) certified project. Finally, it is Haworth’s pilot project for the Well Building Standard which demonstrates Haworth’s global commitment to sustainability. The space is a major hub for local community and social events. The Shanghai showroom has recently been outfitted with a Design Resource Center which showcases patterned fabrics designed by Patricia Urquiola, market-leading fabrics from Kvadrat, and a Test Drive space for Haworth’s key task chairs. The colors, materials and finishes on display ably support both individual and group working as well as focus and restore settings. Products from Haworth partners like Brunner, BuzziSpace, Framery and more are mixed and matched to express Haworth’s insight into how to carry out meaningful collaboration, solve noise problems in agile spaces, and improve space utilisation and talent retention.
The Haworth Shanghai showroom is designed by the renowned Studio Urquiola and Liz Teh, who leads the creation of our showrooms across Asia and Europe. Together they have created a space that showcases the spirit of our brand and the latest in Haworth’s workplace research.
The new space features products from our family of brands and partners including Cappellini, Bo Concepts, Boss Design, BuzziSpace, Brunner, Framery, GAN, Pablo Designs.
Here you can experience a wide variety of work settings which the products are designed for and each colors, materials and finishes were carefully chosen on display to support both individual and group working as well as focus and restore settings. We hope you will find it inspiring to work too!
The space is LEED V4 GOLD certified and are pursuing WELL Gold, which demonstrates Haworth’s global commitment to sustainability. The space is also a major hub for local community and social events, as our continuous support on community engagement.
