Operational Performance

As we focus on improving our global footprint, manufacturing and environmental responsibility are not trade-offs – neither are profit and people. We continue to seek opportunities to address the environmental impact of our business in all facets of our operations.

2020 Highlight
Our Shanghai, China manufacturing center successfully commissioned 2,304 solar panels. The panels covered 31% of the facility’s annual energy use and replaced energy worth 142 tonnes CO2-eq on the local grid.

Our plant in Menziken, Switzerland, avoiding emitting approximately 15 tonnes CO2-eq through replacing fuel oil with energy generated from waste wood.

The modernized truck fleet at our global headquarters runs approximately 14% more efficient than old models used before.
