Haworth, Inc. has won multiple design awards including honors from Architizer, the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). The recognition is a testament to Haworth’s commitment to design and innovation.
Products that were recognized include the lounge chairs Windowseat and Harbor Work Lounge as well as bluescape, a cloud-based technology that accelerates decision-making by enabling anyone to create, communicate, visualize, organize and strategize virtually anything, anywhere, anytime.
The ASID awarded bluescape with a 2014 ASID Design Award in the category of Design and Innovation. Each year, ASID appoints a distinguished panel of professional members and representatives of the design community to review nominations and select the winners. The ASID Design Awards recognize those who have achieved the highest level of excellence in interior design.
The IDSA’s International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA®) recognize design excellence in products, interaction design, service design, strategy, research, concepts and student designs. This year, two Haworth products won International Design Excellence Awards. Windowseat was honored with a gold award in the Office and Productivity category, while Harbor Work Lounge was awarded silver in the same category.
Architizer, an online platform for architecture and design projects, awarded Windowseat with an A+ Award in the category of Products+Work. Now in its second year, the Architizer A+ Awards are a definitive global architectural award program with entries from more than 100 countries.
