CHICAGO – June 13, 2011 – With the launch of the Haworth Collection, Haworth is exploring design inspiration and refined craftsmanship. Anchored with artfully designed pieces from the Castelli brand, the Collection spans the globe, seeking the ideal convergence of form, function, and creative spark – that intangible, instantly recognizable quality that elevates a design to unforgettable status. At NeoCon 2011, Haworth is expanding the Collection through a partnership with the Poltrona Frau Group.
Low and high resolution photos are available on Haworth’s NeoCon 2011 media kit flash drive and by request.
Poltrona Frau Group products featured in the Haworth Collection are: S_Chair, Gong, Stool, Ribbon, Tulip from Cappellini; LC 1, Utrecht, Volage, C.AB 413 and Mister from Cassina; and Kennedee, Quadra, Fred, Ginger and Archibald from Poltrona Frau.
Castelli products in The Haworth Collection include LTB™ Lounge – a Gold Best of NeoCon 2011 winner in the Seating: Benches category. Designed by Catherine Le Téo & Thierry Blet, LTB is an innovative concept that supports evolving, informal work styles and provides new ways to embrace task-based or collaborative activities. More than just a new modular lounge, LTB offers a wide scope of applications for a variety of different settings that support different work activities and behaviors. Whether its group brainstorming and knowledge sharing, unplanned corridor chats, impromptu meetings, solo work or simply relaxing, LTB Lounge responds exceptionally well.
The Haworth Collection also launched with two Castelli tables: Encourage™, designed by Albert Holz, and Bay™, designed by the Haworth Design Studio. Encourage meets an array of needs, from a single, small meeting table for an executive office to a conference room for the entire board of directors. The pieces are firmly anchored in a contemporary style, without sacrificing the functionality of technological integration. The Bay line offers bright finishes and a light design, portraying the air of effortless authority ideal for managerial offices. The flexible combination of glass and/or wood veneer surfaces for both desks and credenzas creates lively and modern workspaces, which enhance the geometry of this European line.
The Haworth Collection also features Collaborate™, new lounge and guest seating designed by Stanley Felderman and Nancy Keatinge. The sophisticated, yet classic aesthetic and simple functionality make Collaborate an easy choice for contemporary environments. Choose roomy lounge chairs for reception, social, and collaborative areas. Select the smaller-scale guest chairs for private offices and conference rooms. All seating features a 180-degree, self-returning swivel.
